MEDIA ADVISORY All Aboard: ABoR Realtors Tour AISD ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµs

A tour by ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ ISD will give Realtors a chance to become expert resources for clients looking for homes in the Central ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ area.

As part of its marketing efforts, ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ ISD has invited Realtors on a special tour of three ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ ISD schools to learn more about the schools’ offerings and points of pride.

What: The bus tour will visit Pease Elementary ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ and Small Middle ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ and conclude at ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ High ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ.

When: 8 a.m.–1:40 p.m. Thursday, March 9

Where: The tour will begin at Toney Burger Activity Center, 3200 Jones Road

Tour Highlights

Pease Elementary ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ, located on West Avenue between 11th and 12th streets, was founded in 1876. It is the oldest continuously operating public elementary school in Texas. Pease has a diverse student population and small classes in kindergarten through sixth grade. Pease was designated a state historic landmark in November 2013.

Small Middle ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ, located on Hwy. 290 West near MoPac, has been designated by the National Wildlife Federation as the first Green Flag ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ in Texas. Learning takes place indoors, in gardens and in outdoor classrooms that surround the school.

ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ High ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ, located in the heart of the city on Cesar Chavez Street near MoPac, is the oldest continuing public high school in Texas. The school has a rich tradition of strong performance and an ever-growing list of distinguished graduates and loyal alumni.
