A tour by ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ ISD will give Realtors a chance to become expert resources for clients looking for homes in the South ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ area.
As part of its marketing efforts, ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ ISD has invited Realtors on a special tour of three ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ ISD schools to learn more about the schools’ offerings and points of pride.
What: The bus tour will visit Cunningham Elementary ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ and Covington Middle ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ and conclude at Crockett High ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ.
When: 8:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Oct. 6
Where: Tour begins at the Toney Burger Activity Center, 3200 Jones Road
Tour Highlights
Crockett High ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ—home to the nation’s first K–12 Entrepreneurship Program, which, through a partnership with Bazaarvoice, teaches students how to launch a business or nonprofit upon graduating.
Covington Middle ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ Fine Arts Academy—uses drama-based instruction as an integral part of all classes to help students develop deeper understanding. College preparation is central to the school’s goal of producing lifelong learners.
Cunningham Elementary ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ—MicroSociety Program serves as the framework for campus initiatives, including the school’s community farm.
