AUSTIN, Texas—ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ ISD and ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ Voices for Education and Youth hosts the first of three community meetings about the future use of Allan Elementary ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ.
When: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16
Where: Eastside Memorial High ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ, 1012 Arthur Stiles Road
Background: ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ ISD and ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ Voices for Education and Youth will host three community meetings throughout the fall to gather input about possible uses of the currently vacant Allan Elementary ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ facility, located at 4900 Gonzales St.
Subsequent meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 6, and Wednesday, Dec. 4. The location of those meetings is yet to be determined.
Parents and community members in the current Govalle and Ortega elementary school attendance areas as well any other interested stakeholders are invited to attend the meetings or submit their input regarding the facility online at .
Translation and childcare services will be available at the meetings.
