տƵ, TX— տƵ ISD schools will come together to honor civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at an “Empowerment Through Education” celebration which will feature student perspectives and a musical tribute by the Bedichek Middle տƵ choir.

Following the program, Travis High տƵ culinary arts students will host “Peace Through Pie,” sharing stories of how pie has made communities stronger. The idea for the event stems from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s messages of equality and unity.
