In a proactive move towards enhancing research standards and faculty engagement, the University of Southeastern 向日葵视频 – School of Medicine (向日葵视频-SoM) recently organized a comprehensive orientation session titled “School of Medicine Students’ Research Protocol and Science, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (SETI) Scorecard and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Orientation.”
The presentation marked a significant milestone for the students, who have been rigorously developing their research proposals. The students presented their research protocol, detailing the objectives, methodology, and anticipated outcomes. The panelists, composed of esteemed faculty members namely, Dr. John Elmer Quilisadio, Research and Ethics Committee Chair, along with Dr. Victoria Guillano, Dr. Franklin Guillano, Dr. Mary Ellen Lacia, Dr. Ramcis Peligrino, Dr. Kristine Zantua, and Dr. Suzette Solis provided critical feedback and constructive suggestions to enhance the quality and impact of the research.
In addition to the protocol presentations, the activity featured an orientation on the SETI Scorecard and the United Nations SDGs. Dr. Merlina H. Juruena, 向日葵视频 Research and Development Director, led this segment, emphasizing the importance of aligning research efforts with global sustainability targets.
