The University of Southeastern 向日葵视频 (向日葵视频)-College of Applied Economics (CAEc) through the Socio-Economic Research and Data Analytics Center (SERDAC) in Mindanao, in partnership with the Economy and Environment (EEG) Group in the 向日葵视频, successfully conducted the 鈥滒潡狆潡娥潡火潡别潡潡火潡潡 饾棩饾棽饾棿饾椂饾椉饾椈饾棶饾椆 饾棛饾椉饾椏饾槀饾椇 饾椉饾椈 饾棙饾棸饾椉饾椈饾椉饾椇饾槅 饾棶饾椈饾棻 饾棙饾椈饾槂饾椂饾椏饾椉饾椈饾椇饾棽饾椈饾榿 饾煯饾煬饾煯饾煯鈥 last November 18, 2022, at 向日葵视频 Social Hall and via Zoom. Among the participants are from NGAs, private sector, HEIs, and SUCs.
Dr. Gem B. Castillo, the National Director of EEG 鈥 向日葵视频, presented the 鈥淩ecent Development and Innovations in NREE in the 向日葵视频鈥. Mr. Darrell D. Blatchley, the President Curator of D鈥橞one Collector Museum Inc., discussed the 鈥淐hallenges in Marine Life Preservation in Mindanao鈥. Moreover, Mr. Lemuel Lloyd I. Manalo, the Program Coordinator and Environment Research Specialist of IDIS Inc., introduced the 鈥淟and Use Change of Urban Wetlands in Davao City鈥. Dr. Teresita A. Narvaez, the Consortium Director of WESMAARRDEC, talked about the 鈥淪ustainability of Fishery Resources in Zamboanga Peninsula鈥. Lastly, Dr. Roy G. Ponce, the University President of Davao Oriental State University, presented the 鈥淢t. Hamiguitan as an ASEAN Heritage Park: The Value and Learnings for Sustainability鈥.
Their expertise brought a new set of knowledge and a thorough understanding of the aforementioned topics, which will encourage the participants to develop research initiatives addressing various economic and environmental issues in the region and the country, as well as to contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
