On April 10, 2025, ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ proudly received a Platinum Award from the Intellectual Property Office of the ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ (IPOPHL) during the prestigious Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) President’s Summit and General Assembly held at the Sequoia Hotel in Parañaque City. This marks a back-to-back Platinum Award achievement, as ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ was similarly honored last year.
This remarkable milestone is a testament to ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ’s diligent efforts in intellectual property protection. The University successfully fulfilled stringent requirements by filing at least ten (10) trademark applications, showcasing its dedication to innovation and the safeguarding of intellectual assets. This accomplishment not only highlights ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ’s role as a leader in intellectual property management but also underscores its significant contributions to the innovation ecosystem.
The awards were received by Dr. Roger C. Montepio, Vice President for Research, Development and Extension (RDE), and Engr. Michael V. Machica, ITSO Manager. Their leadership and dedication have been instrumental in fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within the University.
