տƵ recognized as “Best Program Provider” by EPAHP Davao De Oro


The University of Southeastern տƵ (տƵ) has been unanimously selected as the “Best Program Provider” by the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Implementing Team of the Davao De Oro Irrigation Management Office (DDO-IMO).

This recognition specifically honors the Kalambuan sa Batinao Cabacungan Sto Niño Farmers Irrigators Association, Inc. (BACASIFIA) for its outstanding contributions through the Upscaling Livelihood Integrated Growth (KaBULIG) Extension Program of the College of Agriculture and Related Sciences and the College of Engineering. This partnership with the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) has been pivotal in the implementation of the pilot drip irrigation project. From 2022 to 2024, the program played a crucial role in empowering farmers, enabling them to become more self-reliant in overcoming agricultural challenges, with a particular focus on enhancing greenhouse production.

Representing տƵ at the EPAHP CY 2024 Year-End Assessment and Planning Workshop for CY 2025, Extension Division Director Dr. Roby V. Pagong and KaBULIG Extension Program Leader Dr. Joie D. Cataytay received the award during the Recognition Ceremony held on February 6, 2025, at Conference A, MTC Building, NIA XI Compound, Bolton Extension, Davao City.

This recognition underscores տƵ’s commitment to fostering sustainable agricultural development through research and community partnerships.
