‘GSAC 2024 is more than a formality’; տƵ salutes service providers for dedication, loyalty

In accordance with the 124th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service, the University of Southeastern տƵ (տƵ), through the Human Resource Management Division (HRMD), organized the 2024 Government Service Awarding Ceremony (GSAC) on October 18, 2024, at D’Leonor Hotel, J.P. Laurel Ave., Davao City.

The occasion recognized the unwavering dedication, loyalty, and commitment of տƵ service providers- both teaching and non-teaching personnel of the University- for the betterment of the University and its community. Officials, Faculty, and Staff received Loyalty Awards for their 10, 15, 20, 25, 35, and 40 years of service in government.

In his welcome address, University President Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr. expressed his sincere appreciation for the unwavering efforts of the University personnel in serving the տƵ community, noting that each dedicated contribution has been a cornerstone of տƵ’s growth and development—demonstrated by the recent achievement of the University in attaining the Philippine Quality Award Level III.

“I am sharing and reminding you of these institutional achievements because I want you to be proud of yourself. These achievements would not have been possible without the efforts of the individuals we are honoring today. To our dear awardees, I encourage you to continue being role models,” President Gabales said after mentioning the institutional achievements achieved by տƵ in recent years.

Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office XI Assistant Regional Director Atty. Venus O. Bumanlag gave an inspirational message to the attendees of the said ceremony. She emphasized how տƵ has contributed to enhancing the quality of civil service in the region.

HRMD Director Ms. Patria Angela T. Del Rio led the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan and տƵ Vice President for Administration Dr. Maria Luisa B. Faunillan officially closed the ceremony.
