University President Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr. reaffirmed and extended the University’s community appreciation and gratitude to the 18 retirees during the Conferment of the Retiree Ring: A Tribute to ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ Service organized by the ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ Faculty Federation (ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵFFed) on August 6, 2024, at the College of Information and Computing Audio-Visual Room, ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ Obrero Campus, Davao City.
The conduct of the conferment is a symbolic gesture of the University in acknowledging the years of dedication, hard work, and impact of the retirees on the continued progress of the University.
In his message, President Gabales lauded the roles of every member of the ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ community which he deemed as ‘crucial’ in elevating the status of ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ, encouraging a culture of excellence, and nurturing the growth of students and colleagues that led to where the University stands today.
Moreover, Dr. Gabales reminded the retirees that even though their service to the University has ended, they will forever and always remain part of the ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ family.
Also present at the event were the officers of the ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵFFed led by Dr. Sharon L. Binoya, Faculty Regent and ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵFFed President; Dr. Carmelita P. Martinez, former Faculty Regent; Ms. Patricia Angela T. Del Rio, Human Resource Management Division Director; and University faculty and staff.
